" High Honey ” Mini Print
STORY
Honey bears: they’re so happy with their jolly smiles and round bellies. They have always been little bottles of sunshine to me, full of sweet sweet honey.
The Mind Under Matter Podcast fully embodies this bear to me in so many ways. The cast, like the honey bear, houses a sweeter side of life. It’s a space capable of adding warmth to your soul with laughter. A space that can add sweetness from inspiration of art. And a space that, through the knowledge they share, can add such richness to your perspective. I painted this bear while at their festival. While there I saw that this sweetness was also embodied by the community they are building. With every connection I made and conversation I had, there was a shared sweetness. Throughout the weekend, it stormed a fair bit, but despite that, the energy this community that the podcast is fostering shined bright, casting every memory with a warm glow like honey in the sun.
It’s important for everyone to stay hungry and share that sweet honey from within rather than just letting it be bottled up.
