“ Radiant Revelations” Big Print
STORY
In the rolling hills of West Virginia, rays of self-reflection radiate all around. Layers of understanding somehow rise with the rustle of the wind. Rising waters seem to settle into deep rest. Storms billow in yet smoothly saunter out, leaving behind nothing but a warm glow of growth. Many creatures call this land home and take in all the truth it has to behold. But like the bobcats of these parts, those who travel here find themselves set apart. While looking out over the land, they also are looking deep within.
Inspired by my time at a Mountain Music Festival. While there, I met many new faces and noticed all I talked to had found such a deep sense of renewal from the land that surrounded them. Much like myself, each person I met told me of their own tale of self revelations, reflecting their experiences from the rolling hills and cool mountain breeze all around.
This acrylic painting was created live at Mountain Music Festival in 2022 on a 27” x 17” piece of wood.
